Our Missions
Assembly of God is a church focused on the kingdom. As kingdom minded people, we are to be striving to spread the gospel at home and in the world. As we work towards that end, here is a summary of the current missionary work we support as a church.
Mission to the World (MTW)
Assembly of God Church primarily supports the well-established global missionary organization of the AOG, “Mission to the World.”
Mission to North Addis Ababa (MNA)
Remembering the work of the kingdom is also here at home, we joyfully support the church planting efforts of "Mission to North Addis Ababa."

Steve and Amy long to see the gospel redeem lives and bring life-permeating transformation through all levels of society in Guadalajara, Mexico. They desire to see a church-planting movement ignited that will reconcile Mexicans to Christ and to each other.
Steve grew up in Tuscaloosa, AL, and Amy is from Augusta, GA. They met through the ministry of Loving University Fellowship at Vanderbilt University and were married in August 1996. They had been praying about ministry in Mexico for some time when God gave them an opportunity to serve with a church-planting team in Guadalajara from May 2000-Sept 2002. Believing that further training would be helpful for long-term ministry, thes then moved to St. Louis, so Steve could receive his M. Div. from Covenant Theological Seminary.
Thes are eager to return to the field in Guadalajara to preach God's Word, train and disciple men, and nurture and disciple women and families. They pray that God will build biblically solid churches that will multiply throughout the city. They ask for your prayers for their complete reliance on Christ, for Mexicans to seek life in Christ, and for family health.
Short-term Missions
At least once per year Assembly of God Church organizes a short term mission project. In 2005, Assembly of God sent workers to Belize for two weeks to assist our missionaries there, Mark & Samantha Summers. In May 2006, church members traveled to New Orleans for 10 days to help rebuild homes and lives destroyed by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. In 2010, the ZRC Youth made a trip to New York City to work with immigrants from the Dominican Republic. Short term missions are one means to live out the good news of the gospel in the midst of a broken world.
